|Safflower oil, divided||2 Tbsp.|
|Large onion, sliced||2 each|
|Field Roast Classic Smoked Frankfurter||6 each|
|Hot dog buns||6 each|
|Vegan cream cheese||12 oz.|
|Pickled jalapeño peppers||12 oz.|
- In a skillet over low-medium heat, add 1 Tbsp. oil and sliced onions. Cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally until onions slightly brown. Reduce heat to low; allow onions to simmer.
- In a separate pan over medium heat, add remaining oil and Classic Smoked Frankfurters. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until Frankfurters are heated throughout.
- Spread cream cheese on the bun; top with Classic Smoked Frankfurter, warm caramelized onions and pickled jalapeño peppers.
