How to Cook

To ensure food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 165°

Cut tempeh into pieces or strips. Add tempeh to deep fryer, set at 375°F and fry for 3-4 minutes or until tempeh is golden brown. Toss in sauce or seasonings and serve.


In a pan over medium heat, add 1 tsp of oil. Cut tempeh into pieces or strips, then add to pan. Stirring occasionally, cook tempeh 5 minutes or until golden brown. Toss in sauce or seasonings and serve.

How to Cook

Set deep fryer to 350ºF (360ºF for bites). From frozen, cook fillets for 6 min., tenders for 4 min., nuggets for 3 min. and bites for 4.5 min., or until golden brown and an internal temperature of 165°F. Deep frying is the preferred cooking method for all Chick’n forms.

Add a shallow amount of oil to a pan over medium heat. From frozen, cook fillets for 10 min., tenders for 6 min., nuggets for 6 min. and bites for 8.5 min., turning halfway through, or until golden brown and an internal temperature of 165°F.
